Recently I had the very distinct pleasure of having publishing innovator & owner of Hembury Books, Jessica Mudditt, visit me at my home in Sassafras. Over numerous cups of tea & coffee we happily discuss publicity for my two memoirs. What a privilege!
3MDR Interview
Friday the 13th didn’t faze The Maestro from Mountain District Radio Station 3MDR one little bit. What a great guy to chat with about my latest memoir ‘Out of Time - Roaring into Queensland in ’69’. He had read the book thoroughly and asked some really thought provoking questions that made the whole experience a complete delight. Listen by clicking the button below!
Yellow Shelf Interview
Johanna from Yellow Shelf specialises in interviewing Australian authors about their recently published books and posting the 10 minute cameos onto YouTube. My time with her discussing my latest memoir ‘Out of Time - Roaring into Queensland in ’69' was most enjoyable. Click the button for a brief but informative glimpse into my adventures from way back in the late 60’s.
‘Out of Time’ Book Launch
Check out the virtual book launch for Bruce Lowery’s new book ‘Out of Time’ hosted by Hembury Books.
‘Catch the Wind’ in local bookstores
Thank goodness for local book stores in our communities. My books ‘Catch The Wind’ and ‘Out Of Time’ are being specially promoted at the exquisite Grace and Louie Bookstore in the charming country town of Emerald nestled in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. Here I am with owner Lyn Watson as well as showing off at the front door.
I should also mention that the ever helpful Belgrave Book Barn has stocked my books from day one of their release for which I’m most grateful.
Bruce’s ABC Interview
Bruce was interviewed by David Astle on ABC Radio!
David combined his perceptive insight with many intelligent questions that gave Bruce the space to convey the pathos, humour & drama that fills his book ‘Catch the Wind’

Bruce really enjoyed his animated discussion on the popular ‘Life’s a Mitch’ podcast. Hear their chat here:
I recently had great fun presenting an overview of my memoir ‘Catch The Wind’ to the Brighton Rotary Club members at the Brighton Beach Hotel. The large audience proved to be most receptive and kept me on my toes with some searching questions afterwards.
